Skipped a few days, since we were attending a seminar. My eating schedule was definitely different. Observation one - breakfast was very early, due to not sleeping enough. I was reminded to honor that signal. Like we have talked before, eat when hungry, not because it's breakfast time. It was also unusual to eat all three meals outside the house and I was eager to come home to rich salads, fresh vegetables and food that doesn't make me drink a gallon of water after. Whatever restaurants use is a source of sodium that I don't know at home - we use sea salt and Himalayan salt. It scares me to think what they use. Activity was mostly walking, some hands on work during the seminar, trying new ways to move, and stand up paddle boarding. Back to a regular training schedule last night.

We spent 1 week on the road and in Kansas City. 100% of meals were eaten out, and apart from using the stick and stretching, there were no workouts. Thankfully, there was high quality meat and fish everywhere. I definitely missed the great salads and cooked vegetables we eat at home, as well as fresh eggs, fruit and yogurt. No change in weight on the trip, since I watched calories. Back to normal today. Taking extra fish oil and probiotics to take control of any negative effects of eating out for the last week.

A note on drinks

I don't include my daily drinks in my log and those are plenty of water, filter coffee with non homogenized milk, occasional glass of wine and light beer. Soft drinks or juice are extremely rare and are usually a glass a couple of times per month.

a note on March 11 and 12th

We had our wedding ceremony and reception on March 12 and we are very happy. It was a magical day. We made all food ourselves so the 11th and 12th were very busy with preparations and no time for a sit down meal. We snacked on cheese, nuts and veggies/fruit while preparing everything. The actual wedding day we had no food until our reception but enjoyed some wine and a couple of pieces of wonderful cheesecake that Roland made once we got there. We didn't have time or energy to train, but we walked and stood a lot and there was plenty of stretching and foam rolling in between. Things are back to normal eating on day after wedding, as you can see.
